Development and Preservation Fund

The Development and Preservation Fund provides long- and short-term loans for affordable housing projects at 120% AMI or lower within the Greater Omaha Metro. Applications go through a multi-stage review process, including rigorous underwriting.

Application Guidance

• Thoroughly read and respond to all supplemental questions and guidelines beneath each answer field.
• Most fields do not contain word or character limits. This allows you to write what you need without worrying about cutting down words to fit or adding unnecessary fluff to reach an excessive goal. Please keep your written responses clear and concise, while making sure to fully address each question.
• If utilizing AI tools for writing support, carefully review and edit generated responses to ensure the information presented in your application is 100% accurate to your project, proposal, and plans.
• Prepare and save answers in a Word document first, then copy/paste as needed. This safeguards your responses in the event you run into technical difficulties.
• All uploads must be submitted in PDF form.
• Use spell check and refrain from typing in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
